Marc Eid, Junior Associate

Marc Eid is a Junior Associate at BLK Partners, based in Beirut.

Marc specializes in advising government entities and private sector clients across the Middle East on regulatory compliance, Public Private Partnerships, and legislative and regulatory framework development. He provides legal support on a range of public sector initiatives, including infrastructure development, Information, Communication and Technology, and public procurement transactional services, including the drafting of EOI, RFQ, RFP, and contracts.

Marc has contributed to the development of a security governance regulatory framework and a national disaster management strategy for a government entity, ensuring alignment with applicable laws and regulations and international best practices. He has also assisted in designing a legislative and regulatory framework governing the budgeting and disbursement of governmental cultural sector grants and advised on the legal structuring of a non-profit entity to support the governmental authority’s strategic mandate.

In addition to his governmental advisory work, Marc supports local and international investors on regulatory and licensing matters related to establishing and operating businesses in the Middle East. He also advises clients on compliance with Information, Communication and Technology regulations, including data localization requirements, local entity formation, and domestic sourcing structures.

Marc holds an LL.B. from La Sagesse University in Beirut, Lebanon, and an LL.M. in International Business Law and Trade & Commerce from The University of Law in London. He has also completed specialized programs in International Criminal Law and Human Rights at institutions in The Hague and Padova. Marc is a member of the Beirut Bar Association and is fluent in Arabic, English, and French, with basic proficiency in Italian.”
