Walid is a Partner at BLK Partners based in Beirut.
Walid has over 25 years of experience advising clients on corporate and commercial transactions, banking and finance, private wealth management, succession planning and real estate and construction-related matters. In addition, Walid has extensive experience in handling complex, high-value local and international disputes with a particular focus on banking and commercial litigation.
Walid represented high-net-worth individuals and families and major corporations in Lebanon and the Middle East, including prominent banks, insurance companies, major steel and aluminum plant companies, and distribution companies.
Walid's corporate, commercial, and litigation experience includes: representing banks in multi-million debt settlements, assisting a real estate group in the acquisition and management of a USD 60 Million real estate portfolio, representing a high net worth investor in his multi-million dispute with two major European banks and subsequent settlement, assisting a financial holding company in a USD 33 million bank share acquisition, representing a client in the acquisition of a hotel, representing a group of investors in the acquisition of a mineral water plant company, representing a Jordanian company in its USD 17 million dispute with a regional bank, and subsequent settlement, representing a Cypriot company in its USD 10 million commercial dispute with several international companies.
Walid has an L.L.B from La Sagesse University (Beirut, Lebanon). He is admitted to the Beirut Bar Association and is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
