Dr. Mohamed Ben Laden is the Chairman of BLK Partners, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Ben Laden is an expert in Corporate Law with 30 years of experience in international transactions. He has acted as counsel to numerous international clients advising them on appropriate structures and procedures under Saudi Law, with emphasis on commercial, infrastructure, and construction matters and BOT, BOOT Contracts. Dr. Ben Laden has also handled matters including transfer of technology, as well as public and private international law.
Dr. Ben Laden has a license to practice law in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 1999. He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), and is a certified arbitrator and expert at the GCC Commercial Arbitration Center.
Dr. Ben Laden has authored many articles on foreign direct investments in the Kingdom and on Saudi-French bilateral relations.
Dr. Ben Laden is a member of the Saudi General Authority of Foreign Trade and the President of the Saudi-French Business Council (CAFS). He has the insignias of Officer of the French Legion of Honor, Officer of the National Order of Merit, and Officer of the Order of Academic Palms.
Dr. Ben Laden has a Ph.D. in History from the Sorbonne and an LL.B. from the Faculté Libre d’Économie et de Droit (Paris, France). He is fluent in Arabic, English and, French.
